SEF Ekalavya Award – 2026

About the Award

Senadhipan Education Foundation invites video abstracts for the SEF Ekalavya Award – 2026 in Laparoscopic Surgery. This prestigious award aims to recognize excellence and innovation among young surgeons in the field of minimally invasive surgery.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian Nationals only
• Age below 50 years
• Qualification in General Surgery is mandatory

Abstract Guidelines

• Registration for the Conference is mandatory for abstract submission.
• One author can submit multiple abstracts.
• The author should be an Indian citizen with age less than 50 years and should possess MS General Surgery or an equivalent degree.
• A high-quality video of 7 minutes duration with voice-over should be uploaded in Google Drive, and the link should be shared in the slot provided on the website.
• A word description of the same video with a title in less than 250 words should also be uploaded for scrutiny purposes.
• The author should submit an original contribution certificate from the Head of Department or Head of the Institution.

Selection Process & Award

All submitted video abstracts will be scrutinized by a Scientific Committee. Five abstracts will be shortlisted for verbal presentation.

• Fellowship hosted at Tokyo Medical University, Japan
